Winning Bloons Tower Defence 5 on the Impoppable level

Here is a build order walkthrough that can assist you to win the Impoppable game mode of Bloons tower defence. Of course this will also work for the easier hard, medium, and easy levels. I have tested this strategy on all the beginner levels successfully. I had some success on the intermediate and advanced maps.

I did not enable any abilities at the monkey lab, but you are welcome to do so to assist.

At the speciality store, I enabled the AI’s Custom Chippers. I use this speciality so that the bloonchippers can suck up bananas from the banana farm. This speciality does make the chippers slightly cheaper and adds the ability to daze and slow the balloons briefly. If you play without this speciality, then I will recommend you use an agent to harvest the bananas at the farms and note that the bloonchippers will be slightly more expensive.

This bloons walkthrough was created on an android device. Should be very similar for the iOS and other versions of the game.

I will show the build order on the first of the beginner levels – monkey lane.

Use this map with the alphabet letters A to F to see where I placed the various towers:

The round numbers below indicate end-of-that-round. To simplify the walkthough I only placed towers and do the upgrades at the end of the round. There could be advantages to place and upgrade during the round.

Pre round 1: Place a Dart Monkey at A. Upgrade sharp shots and razor sharp shots.

Round 4: Upgrade the dart monkey at A to triple darts and long range darts.

Round 5: Upgrade the dart monkey at A to Enhanced Eyesight

This single dart monkey will now clear the balloons comfortably until level 16.

Round 11: Build a banana farm at B. Place it so that there will be space for 1 more farm as well as a bloonchipper that we will build a bit later. Remember to pick up the fallen bananas until you have a harvester agent or a bloonchipper that can suck them up.

Round 12: Upgrade the banana farm to more bananas.

Round 15: Build the bloonchipper at B. Leave space for another banana farm close by. Some rounds later we will build a 3^rd farm.

Round 19: Upgrade the banana farm to a banana plantation.

Round 22: Build the second banana farm at B.

Round 23: Upgrade the banana farm to more bananas

Round 25: Upgrade the banana farm to banana plantation.

Round 26: Upgrade the bloonchipper to suckier. Add another dart monkey to C – but leave some spavce for another banana farm above it.

Round 27: Upgrade the bloonchipper to heavy duty suction and dual layer blades. Change to target strong.

Round 29: Add the 3^rd (and last) banana farm at C. Upgrade to more bananas.

Round 30: Upgrade the 2^nd dart monkey to long range darts, enhanced eyesight, sharp shots, razor sharp shots, triple darts.

Round 32: Upgrade the 3^rd banana farm to banana plantation.

Round 36: Place a monkey village at the bloonchipper. Will be good if the village covers the chipper and all 3 banana farms. Upgrade one of the banana farms to banana republic. Upgrade the bloon chipper to long range suck and faster shred.

Round 37: Upgrade the monkey village to monkey beacon and monkey fort. Add a sniper monkey at E and upgrade to faster firing.

Round 38: Upgrade the sniper monkey to full metal jacket and night vision goggles. Add a bomb tower at B under the cover of the monkey village. Upgrade the bomb tower to extra range, frag bombs

Round 39: Upgrade the monkey village to radar scanner. Upgrade the bomb tower to bigger bombs and missile launcher

Round 41: Upgrade the more advanced banana farm to long life bananas and valuable bananas.

This is how we look now:

Round 42: Upgrade the bomb tower to cluster bombs. Upgrade the village to jungle drums.

Round 44: Upgrade the 2^nd banana farm to banana republic

Round 45: Upgrade the bloonchipper to super wide funnel

Round 46: Add a second bloonchipper at B. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty suction, dual layer blades, long range suck. Set to target strong.

Round 48: Upgrade the 2^nd banana farm to long life bananas and valuable bananas. Upgrade the 2^nd bloonchipper to faster schred. Add a 3^rdbloonchipper to B. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty suction, long range suck, faster shred. Target strong.

Round 49: Upgrade the 3^rd banana farm to banana republic. Upgrade the 3^rd bloonchipper to dual layer blades.

Round 50: Upgrade the 3^rd banana farm to long life bananas and valuable bananas. Note: I do not upgrade them further. There might be an advantage to take them to banana research facility but I did not need it…

Round 51: Upgrade the bomb tower to bloon impact.

Round 52: Upgrade the 2^nd bloonchipper to super wide funnel

Round 53: Upgrade the sniper monkey to semi automatic

Round 54: Upgrade the sniper monkey to point five oh

Round 55: Upgrade the 3^rd bloonshipper to super wide funnel. Build a monkey village at A. All the towers we will now build at A must be under cover of the village.

Round 57: Build a bloonchipper at A. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Target strong.

Round 58: Upgrade the village at A to monkey beacon, monkey fort, radar scanner.

Round 59: Upgrade the village at A to jungle drums.

Round 60: Build a bloonchipper at A. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range. Target strong.

Round 61: Upgrade the newest bloonchipper to faster schred.

Round 62: Build a bomb tower at A. Upgrade extra range, frag bombs, cluster bombs, bigger bombs, missile launcher. Round 63 is hard!

Round 63: Upgrade the last bomb tower to bloon impact.

This is where we stand now:

Round 65: Build a bloonchipper at A. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Target strong.

Round 69: Build a monkey village at D. Upgrade monkey beacon, jungle drums, monkey fort, radar scanner. Build a bloonchipper at D. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Target strong.

Round 71: Build a bomb tower at D. Upgrade extra range, frag bombs, cluster bombs, bloon impact, bigger bombs, missile launcher

Round 73: Build a bloonchipper at D. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Target strong.

Round 75: Build a bloonchipper at D. Upgrade suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Target strong. Build a ninja monkey at F. Upgrade ninja discipline, sharp shurikens, double shot, Seeking shuriken, distraction.

Round 76: Upgrade the ninja monkey to bloonjitsu

Round 77: Build a monkey village at F. Upgrade monkey beacon, jungle drums, monkey fort.

Round 78: Build a bomb tower at F. Upgrade extra range, frag bombs, cluster bombs, bloon impact, bigger bombs, misile launcher. Change the 3 bloonchippers at F and the 3 at B to target first. Round 79 is difficult!

Round 79: Upgrade the village at F to radar scanner.

Round 80: Build a super monkey at B. Upgrade laser blasts, plasma blasts, super range, epic range.

Round 83: Upgrade the super monkey to sun god.

Round 84: Now we prepare for the last round. You can sell the 3 banana farms for more than $10 000 each. For now, I build 2 more bloonchippers at F. Upgrade the one: suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel, long range, faster shred. Upgrade the other one suckier, heavy duty, dual layer, super wide funnel . Both Target strong. If you sold the banana farms, then I recommend some more bloonchippers.

Increases the cost of boomerang throwers and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: Its pretty straight forward, you get 1 free Dart Monkey at start and every 10 rounds. But you cannot sell them for money.

Tack Research Center

Tier 1:Reduces the cost of Tack shooters and their upgrades by 5% / (500$)

Tier 2:Increases the attack speed of Tack shooters by 10% / (500$)

Tier 3:Every second shot by the Tack shooters pop a second bloon. / (850$)

Increases the cost of bomb towers and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: For every second shot, tack pops 2 instead of 1.

Boomerang Dojo

Tier 1:Reduces the cost of Boomerang Throwers and their upgrades by 5% / (750$)

Tier 2:Increases the attack speed of Boomerang Throwers by 10% / (750$)

Tier 3:Boomerangs fly another circuit if they have yet to reach their pop count. / (750$)

Increases the cost of dart monkeys and their upgrades by 5%

Bombing Range

Tier 1:Reduces the cost of Bomb Towers and their upgrades by 5% / (750$)

Tier 2:Increases the attack speed of Bomb Towers by 10% / (750$)

Tier 3:Bomb towers can now pop black and zebra bloons. / (1000$)

Increases the cost of spike factories and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: Well you can blow up all types of bloons with this building.

Mage Spire

Tier 1:Reduces the cost of Apprentices and their upgrades by 5% / (750$)

Tier 2:Increases the attack speed of Apprentices by 10% / (750$)

Tier 3:Adds and extra magical bolt, similar to lightning. . / (1000$)

Increases the cost of super monkeys and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: Another extra attack which pops a layer with homing effects.

Ice Fortress

1. Reduces the cost of Ice Towers and their upgrades by 5% / (500$)

2. Increases the freeze length of Ice Towers by 10% / (500$)

3. Ice towers can freeze white and zebra bloons / (1250$)

Increases the price of Glue Gunners and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: You can now freezes everything.

Ninja Academy

1. Reduces the cost of Ninjas and their upgrades by 5% / (750$)

2. Increases the attack speed of Ninjas by 10% / (750$)

3. Gives ninjas an ability that doubles themselves for 10 seconds / (1750$)

Increases the price of Sniper Monkeys and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: Ability for ninjas to creates a shadow for about 10 seconds.

Spikes R Us

1. Reduces the cost of Spike Factories and their upgrades by 5% / (500$)

2. Increases the lifespan of Spike Factory Spikes by 10% / (500$)

3. Generates one free road spike pile every round / (1250$)

Increases the price of tack shooters and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: Gives you a free roadspike pile every round, it does not matter if you have a spike factory or not.

Mortar Emplacement

1. Reduces the cost of Mortar Towers and their upgrades by 5% / (750$)

2. Increases the attack speed of Mortar Towers by 10% / (750$)

3. Stuns all bloons hit for a short amount of time/ (1000$)

Increases the price of dartling gunners and their upgrades by 5%

Explanation: The stuns does not affect MOAB class bloons

Tier 1:Reduces the cost of Monkey Aces and their upgrades by 5% / (1000$)

Seeking Shuriken - Infuses bloon hatred into the weapons themselves - they will seek out and pop bloons automatically

Distraction - Some bloons struck by the Ninja's weapons will become distracted and move the wrong way temporarily

Flash Bomb - Sometimes throws a flash bomb that stuns bloons in a large radius

Sabotage Supply Lines - Sabotage Supply Lines Ability: Sabotage the bloons supply lines for 15 seconds. During the sabotage, all new bloons are crippled to half speed

Extra range - The bomb tower now has more range

Frag bombs - The bombs now explodes sharp fragments that pop black and zebra bloons and pop more bloons

Cluster bombs - Throws out secondary bombs that have clustered explosions

Missile launcher - Missiles fly fast and and further, popping more bloons and have higher velocity

MOAB assassin - Super deadly missiles seek out and instantly destroys MOAB class bloons . Does 1000 damage to ZOMGs instead of destroying them (ability)

Enhanced Freezing - Larger freeze area and freezes bloons for a longer duration

Snap Freeze - The tower freezes so fast the bloons pop once before freezing

Arctic Wind - Additional cold aura that slows all bloons that come near the tower

Viral Frost - Frozen bloons freeze other bloons that come in contact with them, spreading the freeze like a virus

Permafrost - Bloons move with half speed after thawing out

Deep Freeze - Freezes 2 layers instead of one

Ice Shards - Creates razor sharp pieces of ice on bloons, when popped, fly out and pop more bloons

Absolute Zero - Freezes the entire screen of bloons for 4 seconds. Does not affect MOAB class bloons (ability)

Glue Soak - Glue soaks through all layers of bloons

Corrosive Glue - Makes the glue become corrosive, popping bloons every few seconds while glued

Bloon Dissolver - Glue contains an extreme solvent that melts bloons. While glued, bloons will pop twice every second

Bloon Liquefier - Pops bloons once before glueing. Contains a super strong dissolving glue that pops bloons ten times every second

Stickier Glue - Makes glue effect last much longer

Glue Splatter - Instead of glueing 1 bloon at a time, it splatters 6 bloons at a time

Glue Hose - Shoots glue more than 3x as fast

Glue Striker - Glues all bloons on screen (ability)

Destroyer - Attacks super duper fast (3x the attack speed)

Aircraft Carrier - Rapidly launches monkey ace pilots that strafe the area with darts

Crow's Nest - Allows the buccaneer to detect and target camo bloons. Does not grant detection to other towers.

Cannon Ship - Adds a powerful, independantly firing cannon to the buccaneer

Monkey Pirates - Grabs hold of the nearest M.O.A.B. Class Bloon and destroys it, ZOMG bloons are immune to this

Rapid Fire - Shoots darts faster

Sharper Darts - Sharper shots pop 8 bloons each

Neva-Miss Targeting - Darts seek out and pop bloons intelligently

Spectre - Fires directly at the bloons with bombs and piercing darts rapidly, bombs create small explosion on impact

Pineapple Present - Drops explosive pineapples

Spy Plane - Allows the darts to pop camo bloons

Operation: Dart Storm - Fires rapidly and fires 16 darts

Ground Zero - Gives the special ability to fire a nuke that kills all bloons, including MOAB class bloons. It completely demolishes any MOAB or BFB, but takes 27 uses to crack a ZOMG

Laser Blasts - Shoots super powerful lasers instead of throwing darts. (can pop frozen bloons)

Plasma Blasts - Plasma vaporizes everything it touches

Sun God - This is ultra powerful, firing 3 rays at once

Temple of the Monkey God - The Temple demands sacrifice. Its arsenal of unstoppable bloon destruction is enhanced and modified by the types of towers sacrificed.

Super Range - Super Monkey with super range

Epic Range - Super duper range

Robo Monkey - Super Monkey's arms become pulse cannons of annihilation, able to aim and target independently from each other

Technological Terror - Destroys all bloons within short radius of tower, completely, and utterly. Does 1000 damage to MOAB-class bloons (ability)

Path 1

Intense Magic - Shoots larger and more powerful magical bolts

Lightning Bolt - Unleash the power of lightning to zap many bloons at once

Summon Whirlwind - Whirlwind blows bloons off the path away from the exit. Removes ice and glue from bloons

Tempest Tornado - The tempest blows more bloons. faster, further, and more often. Also pops bloons once before blowing. Removes ice and glue from bloons however.

Path 2

Fireball - The Apprentice adds a powerful fireball attack to it arsenal

Monkey Sense - Allows the Monkey Apprentice to target and pop camo bloons.

Dragon's Breath - Spews endless flames at nearby bloons, roasting and popping them with ease

Summon Phoenix - Creates a super powerful flying pheonix that flies around wreaking bloon havoc for 20 seconds (ability)

Path 1

Monkey Beacon - Increases attack range of all towers in its radius

Jungle Drums - Increases attack speed to all towers in its radius

Monkey Town - All bloons popped by towers in the radius get 50% more cash per pop

High Energy Beacon - All nearby towers with 'Abilities' have their cooldowns reduced by 20% and adds a powerful energy beam attack

Path 2

Monkey Fort - Gives each tower in its radius the ability to pierce one more bloon

Radar Scanner - Allows all the towers in its radius to detect camo bloons

Monkey Intelligence Bureau - Grants all the towers in the radius the ability to pop any type of bloon

M.I.B Call to Arms - Doubles the attack speed and popping power for all towers in the radius for 10 seconds

More Bananas - Generates 6 bananas per round ($120 per round)

Banana Plantation - Generates 13 bananas per round ($260 per round)

Banana Republic - Generates 25 bananas per round ($500 per round)

Banana Research Facility - Generates 10 crates of bananas each round ($2,000 per round)

Long Life Bananas - Bananas will last 20 seconds before disappearing

Valuable Bananas - Increases the value of each banana by 50%

Monkey Bank - Generates $450 per round which get stored. Earns 10% interest each round and holds up to $5000. Withdraw the cash at anytime

Banana Investments Advisory - Generates $1,000 per round which get stored. Earns 20% interest each round and holds up to $20,000. Withdraw the cash at anytime

Increaced Accuracy - Better accuracy

Bigger Blast - Larger explosion

Bloon Buster - Pops two layers of bloon

The Big One - Pops five layers of bloon and has HUGE explosions

Path 2

Rapid Reload - Increaces the firerate

Burny Stuff - Make bloons hit by this go on fire, causing them to be popped once every 2 seconds for 6 seconds

Signal Flare - Any camo bloons popped by this lose their camo abillity

Artillery Battery -Increases the firerate. The Pop And Awe abillity bombards the entire screen with mortar shells, popping each bloon once per second and stunning all bloons for five seconds (ability)
